Automotive Cells Company (ACC) and ProLogium Technology have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on the development of solid state batteries for electric vehicles. In early 2022, ACC had confirmed the construction of its first gigafactory at Billy-Berclau in Hauts-de-France, with the aim of achieving an installed capacity of 120 gigawatt hours in Europe by 2030.

ProLogium is looking for Gigafactory location

Meanwhile, anticipating exponential growth in EV demand over the next decade, ProLogium has confirmed its search for its first overseas gigafactory location for next-generation solid-state batteries in Asia, Europe or the United States. The battery manufacturer is in talks with several authorities in these regions. "Our goal is to build a large overseas manufacturing base and cross-cultural operational capabilities with our powerful, safe and affordable technologies to create a more sustainable world," said Vincent Yang, Founder and CEO of ProLogium Technology.
